With years of experience as a language expert, travel coordinator, and hospitality professional, Katia combines her diverse skills with a deep love for culture, food, and slow travel.
She’s not just designing trips from behind a desk — she often travels with clients herself, co-creating routes that feel personal, purposeful, and deeply rooted in place.
Born in Belgium and currently based in Norway, Katia is the visionary behind Nomadia’s mission:

Born in Nigeria and raised in the lively spirit of African markets, he brings a lifetime of resourcefulness, entrepreneurship, and love for the outdoors. His hands-on experience translates into real-world travel know-how — from organizing tours to ensuring every item in our shop is purposeful, ethical, and well-sourced.
Chinonso personally curates our gear selection — from the heart of African markets to our online shop, every piece tells a story of craftsmanship, resilience, and roots.
He works closely with local artisans and small suppliers, championing sustainable, community-based products that reflect Nomadia’s values.
